Software that
fits the floor.
Custom tools for GTA businesses
The studio
Software built around how your business actually runs.
Duri Developments is a small software studio working out of Toronto. We build tools for owner-operated businesses — the kind where the person signing off on the software is also the person using it at 7am.
Off-the-shelf systems ask you to change how you work to suit the software. That trade is fine until the mismatch starts costing you time on every shift. We work the other way around: watch the actual process first, then build the smallest thing that removes the friction.
What we build
Practical systems, not platforms.
Point of sale
Counter and order-taking screens built for one shop's menu and workflow, fast enough to use during a rush without training a new hire for a week.
Internal tools
The small pieces that usually live in a spreadsheet or a group chat — scheduling, orders, stock counts, day-end numbers — turned into something reliable that your staff can use.
Web presence
Straightforward sites that load quickly, read well on a phone, and tell a customer what you do and how to reach you. No template sprawl.
Our work
Built for real counters.
We have built counter tools for restaurants in the GTA — designed around one menu and one counter rather than adapted from a generic retail product.

Working together
How a project usually goes.
1 — Look at the work
A conversation about what you do now, where the time goes, and what is genuinely worth changing. Free, and sometimes it ends with us saying you don't need a build.
2 — Agree the smallest useful build
A written scope of what v1 includes, what it does not, and what it costs. No open-ended hourly drift.
3 — Build, then sit with it
You use it in the real business while it is still easy to change. Fixes come from what actually happens on the floor.
